Most healthcare facilities need qualified medical coding and billing specialists to accurately bill insurance companies for medical services provided. This program is designed to prepare students for entry level employment as medical coding and billing specialists in doctors’ offices, out-patient or free-standing surgical centers, diagostic service centers, hospitals and billing companies as well as health insurance companies.
