Technical Support In the computer industry as well as in many others, technical support is a heavily relied upon position within the information technology department. Those who choose this career can work in any company in a diverse array of industries.
Individuals in this field provide technical assistance to computer system users by answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. They may provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
